FEQ 2024 unveils diverse lineup featuring Post Malone, The Offspring , J Balvin, and more

The Festival d’été de Québec (FEQ) is gearing up for its 56th annual edition, slated to take place from July 4 to July 14, once again bringing a stellar lineup of musical acts to Quebec City. This year’s roster boasts an eclectic mix of genres and artists, promising a memorable experience for festival-goers.

Headlining the festival are heavy hitters like Post Malone, 50 Cent, Jonas Brothers, J Balvin, Nickelback, Mötley Crüe, Offspring, Rise Against, Alexandra Stréliski, the Zac Brown Band, Alan Walker, and Loud Luxury. Joining them are a slew of talented performers, including Arkells, JJ Wilde, Killer Mike, Carly Rae Jepsen, Meet Me @ the Altar, Elisapie, Beyries, Karkwa, Fleet Foxes, Havok, Mt. Joy, Future Islands, Gabrielle Shonk, La Force, TOBi, Rymz, Mike Shabb & Nicholas Craven, Ben Howard, Martha Wainwright, Kansas, Kim Mitchell, and many more.

The festival’s CEO, Nicolas Racine, expressed excitement about this year’s lineup and highlighted some new features attendees can expect. “This year, we’re offering several new features, starting with the reintroduction of Place D’Youville, a historic venue cherished by festival-goers that we’re returning to in a different capacity,” Racine stated. “The FEQ will thus have two free stages: Place D’Youville and the Hydro-Québec Stage at Place de l’Assemblée-Nationale, which contributes to enhancing the fan experience and making our festival even more accessible.”

In addition to the star-studded headliners, FEQ continues its tradition of spotlighting Quebecois talent. Two Quebec artists, Karkwa and Alexandra Stréliski, have been granted “carte blanche” for headlining performances on the Bell Stage at the Plains of Abraham, with the freedom to curate their shows and invite special guests.

But FEQ isn’t just about the big names; it’s also about discovery. With multiple stages scattered throughout Quebec City, both indoor and outdoor, festival-goers can explore a diverse array of musical genres, including Afropop, funk, metal, folk, and more.

Tickets for the festival are priced at $150 for all 11 days, taxes included (delivery fees excluded), making it one of the most affordable festival passes available. Signature Bell Zone passes and tickets for the Jardin Air Canada will go on sale on April 4, with additional announcements expected in the coming weeks.

Throughout the festival, attendees can also enjoy a range of activities beyond the main stage performances. From late-night electro sets at the Manège militaire to shows co-presented with the Grand Théâtre de Québec, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

As summer approaches, anticipation is building for the return of FEQ and the opportunity to experience world-class music in the heart of Quebec City. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit the FEQ website.
