Annette Aghazarian sits down with Montreal singer-songwriter Dominique Fils-Aimé to talk about her new album My World Is the Sun.

They talk about the colour and symbolism behind the record, the cassette from the 1970s featuring her mother's voice that opens the album, writing "Moonchild" for a dancer friend, how she composes space into songs for her band to improvise, and what actually happens to her during a live performance. She also shares her thoughts on staying grounded, the illusion of individualism, and why connection is the only real answer.

My World Is the Sun is the second chapter of her second trilogy. She performs at the Théâtre Maisonneuve on June 27th as part of the Montreal International Jazz Festival.

Nine Inch Nails live at the Bell Centre in Montreal, February 16, 2026.

Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross brought the Peel It Back tour to Montreal and turned the Bell Centre into something industrial, intimate, and occasionally unhinged. This edit combines floor and stand footage to recreate the full arc of the night, from the stark piano moments on the B-stage to the full-force assault on the main stage.
