Indie singer-songwriter Soccer Mommy (Sophie Allison) has announced new tour dates in support of her forthcoming album, Evergreen. The tour, which starts in January 2024, includes stops across North America before heading to Europe. Montreal fans can catch her at Théâtre Beanfield on February 2, with support from Tomberlin.

In addition to the tour announcement, Soccer Mommy has shared a new single, “Driver.” Described by Allison as a love song, it’s a reflection on someone offering support despite personal flaws. “It’s more light-hearted than some of the other songs I’ve put out this year, using my distractedness as a bit of a punchline,” Allison said in a press statement. The track continues the introspective, emotional storytelling fans have come to expect from her.

Evergreen will be released on October 25 through Loma Vista Recordings. The album follows her 2022 release, Sometimes, Forever, which garnered widespread praise for its blend of dreamy indie rock and confessional lyricism.

While the first leg of the tour covers cities such as Boston, New York, and Toronto, the European dates will kick off in March 2024. Check out the full tour schedule below, and expect Evergreen to make its mark in the ever-growing catalogue of Soccer Mommy’s emotionally resonant work.

Tickets for the Montreal show are available now via Evenko.
