Deftones Announce Montreal Show With Idles

Sacramento alt-metal veterans Deftones are set to embark on the second leg of their 2025 North American tour, with newly announced dates spanning August 22 to September 17. The Live Nation-produced tour will see the band performing at major arenas across Canada and the United States.

The tour kicks off at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena before making its way through several Canadian provinces, including stops in Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Quebec City, and a notable September 8 performance at Montreal’s Bell Centre. The U.S. portion includes shows in Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Buffalo, Cleveland, Baltimore, St. Louis, Denver, and concludes in Kansas City.

The band has curated a diverse supporting lineup for the tour. Electronic rock duo Phantogram will provide direct support for the Canadian and early U.S. dates through September 8, while British post-punk outfit IDLES will take over support duties for the remaining American shows. Emerging act The Barbarians of California will open all performances throughout the run.

This announcement follows the first leg of Deftones’ 2025 tour, continuing the band’s support of their most recent studio work. The group, fronted by Chino Moreno, has maintained a dedicated following since their formation in the late 1980s, balancing their aggressive metal foundations with atmospheric textures that have distinguished them from their contemporaries.

Tickets for all newly announced dates will go on sale Monday, March 17 at 10 AM local time.
