Beck to Perform Orchestral Concert in Montreal This Summer

Beck, the multifaceted artist renowned for his genre-blending soundscapes, has unveiled plans for a 2025 North American orchestral tour, with a notable stop at Place Des Arts in Montreal. This announcement follows his acclaimed orchestral performances at venues such as New York’s Carnegie Hall and Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl last year.

The tour is set to commence on July 15 at the Westville Music Bowl in New Haven, Connecticut. Montreal audiences can anticipate his performance on July 16 at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier, where Beck will collaborate with L’Orchestre Métropolitain. The tour will continue with two nights at Toronto’s Roy Thomson Hall on July 18 and 19, featuring the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Additional performances are scheduled in Cincinnati, Chicago, Colorado Springs, Morrison (CO), and San Diego, concluding on July 29.

Each concert will spotlight Beck’s diverse repertoire, encompassing tracks from albums like the multi-platinum “Odelay,” the eclectic “Mutations,” the introspective “Sea Change,” and the Grammy-winning “Morning Phase.” Fans can also expect some surprises throughout the performances.

Molly Lewis, known for her distinctive whistling artistry, will join Beck as the opening act for these orchestral shows.

Tickets for the Montreal concert are slated to go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 7, at 10 a.m. local time. For more details and ticket purchases, visit Beck’s official website.
