Tom Walker, the Scottish singer-songwriter known for his soulful, emotive voice and relatable lyrics, rose to fame with his 2018 hit single “Leave a Light On,” which explores themes of addiction and friendship. This song became his biggest international success, catapulting him into the spotlight and helping him secure the BRIT Award for Best Breakthrough Artist in 2019. His debut album, What a Time to Be Alive, went on to top the UK charts, further solidifying his place in the music world.
In 2024, Walker released his second studio album, I Am, which represents a new phase in his career. The album is deeply personal, tackling themes of self-discovery, mental health, and resilience. Singles like “Burn” and “Freaking Out” showcase Walker’s evolution as an artist, with introspective lyrics and powerful collaborations with producers such as Fraser T. Smith and Stuart Price.
Walker is currently supporting I Am with an extensive tour, which arrives in Montreal on October 9.
