Arch Enemy Unveils New Album Blood Dynasty for March Release

Swedish extreme metal outfit Arch Enemy has announced the release of their twelfth studio album, Blood Dynasty, set to drop on March 28, 2025, via Century Media Records. This new record follows the surprise release of their single “Dream Stealer” on July 31, a track that seems to signal a return to their classic mix of thrash and melodic death metal with a few unexpected twists.

The band’s founder and guitarist, Michael Amott, hinted at an evolution in their sound, describing the album as pushing the “boundaries of what we’ve done before.” He adds, “It’s everything you’ve come to expect from this band, and then some. We can’t wait for you to hear it and feel the energy we’ve poured into every track.”

Blood Dynasty will feature 11 tracks, blending Arch Enemy’s characteristic heavy riffs with lead vocalist (and Montrealer) Alissa White-Gluz’s guttural growls and clean vocal work, which have become a staple of the band’s evolving sound. Tracks like “Dream Stealer” and “Illuminate the Path” showcase the band’s technical prowess, while songs such as “A Million Suns” and “Vivre Libre” suggest a few new elements that may surprise long-time fans.

Arch Enemy’s lineup remains consistent with Amott on guitars, joined by guitarist Joey Concepcion, bassist Sharlee D’Angelo, and drummer Daniel Erlandsson, with White-Gluz up front. Their cohesion as a unit has been evident in recent live performances and in the studio, where they continue to refine their sound.

Here’s a quick look at the Blood Dynasty tracklist:

  1. Dream Stealer
  2. Illuminate the Path
  3. March of the Miscreants
  4. A Million Suns
  5. Don’t Look Down

Pre-orders for the album are available now on Century Media’s website, allowing fans to secure their copy ahead of the official release. Blood Dynasty is poised to be another chapter in Arch Enemy’s two-decade-long career, as they continue to push the boundaries of their genre while staying true to the sound that brought them to prominence.
