After days of rumours and a whole lot of wishful thinking, it’s now official. The Vans Warped Tour will return to Montreal for a two-day festival at Parc Jean-Drapeau on August 21 and 22, 2026.
The announcement lands as part of Warped’s newly unveiled 2026 tour plans, marking a major expansion year for the festival. For Montreal, it’s a homecoming twelve years in the making. Warped last hit Parc Jean-Drapeau in 2014, and fans here have been hoping for another chapter ever since.
Kevin Lyman, Warped’s founder, says Montreal has always been one of the most passionate stops on the tour. “Montreal is home to some of the most dedicated music fans in the world,” he said, calling the city’s 2026 return an “exciting milestone.”
Warped will roll into town with the same mix of genres that shaped its legacy: rock, punk, pop punk, emo, hardcore, ska, alternative and everything in between. The lineup hasn’t been revealed yet, but fans can expect a blend of icons, returning favourites, and up-and-coming artists. The full programming drops early in the new year.
As with other large-scale festivals at Parc Jean-Drapeau, the event will be built on the infrastructure Evenko already uses for Osheaga, ÎleSoniq and Lasso. It’s a familiar setting, and one that makes total sense for Warped’s first Montreal edition since the revival of the festival in 2025.
