Montreal fans will soon experience The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn 2025 Tour as the global superstar brings his massive stadium production to Parc Jean-Drapeau on July 24. The show, part of a North American tour produced by Evenko & Live Nation, will support Hurry Up Tomorrow, the final chapter in his album trilogy that began with After Hours (2020) and Dawn FM (2022). The tour will also feature Playboi Carti and special guest Mike Dean.
Released today via XO/Republic Records, Hurry Up Tomorrow marks the culmination of a creative arc that has spanned nearly five years. The album features introspective themes, blending elements of dark R&B, synth-pop, and cinematic soundscapes that reflect the artist’s signature style. Early standout tracks include “Timeless,” which debuted in the Top 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 after being teased during The Weeknd’s São Paulo stadium concert, and “Take Me Back to LA,” a song whose proceeds will be donated to the LA Regional Food Bank to aid those affected by the recent wildfires.
This latest tour follows a record-breaking 2024 for The Weeknd, during which he became the first artist to achieve 27 songs surpassing one billion streams each on Spotify. He currently boasts 118 million monthly listeners on the platform. The 25+ date tour, which kicks off May 9 in Phoenix, will stop in major cities across North America, including Montreal, Vancouver, and Toronto, where he will perform back-to-back shows at Rogers Centre. Montreal’s Parc Jean-Drapeau, known for hosting some of the city’s most iconic outdoor performances, will be transformed into a spectacle of sound and visuals with After Hours Til Dawn’s never-before-seen production.
Tickets for the Montreal date will be available through an artist presale beginning Wednesday, February 5 at 10 a.m. local time, with general sales opening on Friday, February 7 at 10 a.m. via theweeknd.com/tour. While U.S. fans have access to a Cash App Card presale, Canadian attendees can explore VIP packages that include exclusive merchandise and early access to tickets.
The Weeknd is also using this tour as a platform for philanthropic initiatives. In collaboration with Global Citizen, $1 from every ticket sold will be donated to support children from vulnerable communities worldwide. Additionally, fans will have the opportunity to earn free tickets by participating in actions to help end extreme poverty through Global Citizen.
In parallel with the tour, The Weeknd will star in Hurry Up Tomorrow, a psychological thriller written and directed by Trey Edward Shults, co-starring Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan. The film, inspired by his latest album, will be released in theatres on May 16, 2025, with a soundtrack scored by The Weeknd and Daniel Lopatin.
Following the overwhelming success of his 2022-2023 tour—which saw 60 sold-out stadium dates and more than 3 million attendees—Montreal fans can expect a high-energy performance filled with new material from Hurry Up Tomorrow, alongside hits spanning his decade-long career. With his ever-expanding artistic ambitions and a production scale that continues to set new benchmarks, The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn Montreal show is shaping up to be one of the city’s must-see concerts of 2025.
