The atmosphere inside Place Bell last night for The Kid LAROI‘s Perfect World tour stop in Laval felt more intimate than explosive, especially after the show was postponed by a day. While the seated sections stayed relatively mellow throughout the night, the pit brought plenty of energy, something LAROI acknowledged early on when he joked about the crowd “partying like old people at 7:30 p.m.” after the earlier-than-usual start time. From the moment he stepped on stage, he kept the show feeling light and personal, balancing humour with strong, genuine performances backed only by a DJ behind him, leaving all eyes centred on him.
The setlist blended older fan favourites with tracks from his newest album, keeping the crowd fully engaged from start to finish. One of the standout moments came during DIVA, when the floor erupted into a full mosh pit, bringing back the chaotic energy of 2020-era Kid LAROI. The loudest crowd reaction of the night, however, came during Stay, with the entire venue screaming every word back to him.
He also performed Reminds Me of You alongside a touching tribute to Juice WRLD, holding up a flag featuring a photo of the two of them together, a moment that shifted the energy in the room completely.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, Maybe I’m Wrong became one of the night’s most memorable performances. LAROI slowly built the song live on stage by recording harmonies in real time before moving to the piano, creating an intimate and emotional atmosphere that showcased a more vulnerable side of his artistry.
What made the show so effective was the contrast between those explosive, high-energy moments and the quieter, emotional ones. The Kid LAROI proved he can command a crowd whether he’s starting a mosh pit or sitting alone at a piano, and Laval got to experience both sides of that.
