Last Sunday at MTelus was pure controlled chaos. A full house of nearly 1,800 fans packed both floors of the venue for one of the most stacked deathcore lineups to hit Montreal this year, and from the first breakdown to the last, the energy never let up.

Four Bands, No Breathing Room
Synestia opened the night by immediately setting the tone, pulling the crowd in before most people had even fully settled. It did not take long for the first pits to crack open.
Mental Cruelty followed, hitting the room with a sharper level of intensity. Their set pushed things forward fast, keeping the floor in constant motion and raising the energy across both levels of the venue.
AngelMaker kept that momentum alive with a relentless performance that gave the crowd no space to reset. By this point, the floor was fully engaged, no warm-up, just nonstop movement.
A Crowd in Constant Motion
By the midpoint of the night, MTelus had completely transformed.
Crowd surfers poured forward in waves, an almost continuous stream of bodies gliding overhead, carried across a sea of raised hands. Security barely had time to catch one before the next came through.
Circle pits opened fast and wide, pulling entire sections of the floor into spinning chaos. Walls of death split the crowd clean down the middle, only to collide seconds later with explosive force.
