Ken Presse’s music is woven from various influences: folk, country, indie rock, pop and even R&B. With these elements, he created a sound that’s uniquely his. Guitars and banjo lines flow with lush strings and keyboard arrangements. His voice softly presents his lyrics about heartbreak and hope, striking a chord with anyone who’s ever been in love.

Presse obtained a Bachelor’s degree from McGill University before pursuing music full time. Performing on guitar, voice, percussion, keyboards and bass for many events such as opening act for Mumford and Sons, Jazz Fest, 4 sold-out Metropolis with The Franklin Electric, and Osheaga’s main stage. As a musician, in the last three years alone, he toured in over 18 countries withThe Franklin Electric, and others with roles in guitar, keys, vocals and bass.

Montreal Rocks caught up with Ken at his home to chat about this new project, his love of Metallica and falling over on stage in Germany.
