This album will be released independently on her own imprint, also named Verbathim, following her departure from a major record label last year due to her outspoken activism.
The album announcement comes alongside the release of her latest single, “Coloured Concrete,” a track that delves into themes of self-reflection and resilience. The accompanying video, directed by Norman Wong and Amy Gardner, visually explores the metaphor of “concrete on my feet,” symbolizing the burdens and challenges that can weigh one down.
