Municipal Waste + Ghoul + Necrot + Dead Heat @ Les Foufounes Électriques

If you missed Municipal Waste‘s electrifying celebration of their debut album “Waste ‘Em All” at Foufs, you missed out on the ultimate metal extravaganza of the year. The venue was bursting at the seams with eager fans who had snagged tickets months in advance, setting the stage for a night of unforgettable mayhem.

As the doors swung open early, the crowd surged in, eager to kick off the festivities. Dead Heat, hailing from California, set the tone perfectly with their blend of modern hardcore and Municipal Waste-esque riffs, igniting the crowd with their intense energy.

Next up was Necrot, delivering a relentless onslaught of old-school death metal that left no head unturned. Their ferocious performance, highlighted by blistering guitar riffs and guttural vocals, quickly won over even the most skeptical of listeners.

But it was Ghoul who truly stole the show, unleashing their trademark brand of thrash-infused madness upon the crowd. With a stage adorned with characters from their mythical world of Creepsylvania, Ghoul’s set was a whirlwind of chaos, complete with mosh pits, flying guts, and infectious energy that left the audience clamouring for more.

And then, of course, there was Municipal Waste, the undisputed kings of party metal. From the moment they took the stage, the venue erupted into a frenzy of bodies and inflatables, propelled by the band’s infectious enthusiasm and classic anthems. With a setlist spanning their entire career, Municipal Waste delivered hit after hit, leaving no doubt that they are at the top of their game.

As the night came to a close and the bruises began to show, it was clear that this was a show for the ages. To those who missed out on this epic celebration, you missed more than just a concert – you missed a true metal spectacle. Many thanks to Extensive Enterprise for bringing this unforgettable night to Montreal.
