Metalcore heroes Bleeding Through promise new album in 2024

Bleeding Through 2022 Fixed

In a significant development for the metalcore genre, Bleeding Through, the renowned band from Orange County, has announced they will be releasing new music in 2024. This news arrives as a follow-up to their previous hint in 2022 about entering the studio, marking a substantial moment for their dedicated fan base.

Now, they’ve shared on social media that a new record is finally in the works:

“Happy New Year. 2023 was fucking epic! 2024 will bring more shows and a NEW Full Length! Be warned!”

Bleeding Through, known for their influential role in shaping the metalcore scene since their formation in 1999, has had a dynamic journey. After an initial breakup in 2014, the band briefly reunited in 2016, followed by a more substantial return in 2017 with new music, culminating in a full-fledged comeback announced in 2018.

The band’s recent activities have included re-recording tracks from their acclaimed album “This Is Love, This Is Murderous” and commemorating its 20th anniversary with special shows in 2023. These events have set the stage for their latest announcement, stirring excitement among fans and industry observers alike.

Brandan Schieppati, the band’s frontman, had previously mentioned in an interview that the initial breakup was a result of members wanting to explore different paths in life. However, their recent resurgence and commitment to new material indicate a rejuvenated focus on their musical career.

“Bleeding Through stopped in the beginning because we were all approaching our mid-30s. We wanted to start families and kids. Other career opportunities came up, and once you give 15 years to something, it’s hard to do something else because that’s all you know. And we tried, and we gave it a legit effort the last couple years of doing Bleeding Through to do it more on a part-time basis. And really we found that there were other things during that part time basis, like the people that were still working for the band at the moment, we didn’t feel it was the right team anymore. And we found we still had obligations to Bleeding Through to carry out. Then we wouldn’t be able to advance in other aspects of our personal life, which I think it was important. It was really important for us to take a step back and work on our personal lives to accomplish all the things I mentioned.”

Bleeding Through’s announcement promises not just new music but also more live performances in 2024. As they prepare to unleash a new full-length album, the anticipation among the metalcore community is palpable, eagerly awaiting what the band will bring to the table in this next chapter of their storied career.
