Linkin Park has announced dates for their 2025 world tour, marking a significant return to the global stage as they support their upcoming album, From Zero, set for release tomorrow. The North American leg kicks off on July 29 at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center and will crisscross the continent through late September, wrapping up in Seattle on September 24. This tour follows several high-profile festival appearances, including Sick New World, Sonic Temple, and Welcome to Rockville, all of which saw Linkin Park back on stage after years of relative silence.

In a recent statement, Linkin Park’s co-founder Mike Shinoda expressed the band’s enthusiasm for reconnecting with fans. “Getting back out on the road has been incredible,” Shinoda said. “The fans’ support is overwhelming, and we’re ready to take this energy even further around the world. From Zero is a new chapter for us, and we’re so excited to share it with everyone on a bigger scale.”

The lineup for this tour includes a roster of opening acts rotating through different dates, including Grandson, Jean Dawson, JPEGMAFIA, and PVRIS, offering audiences a diverse mix of sounds ahead of Linkin Park’s performances.

However, this tour isn’t without controversy. The band’s return to the stage has sparked mixed reactions, particularly regarding their choice of new lead vocalist, Emily Armstrong, who stepped in to fill the space left after the death of Chester Bennington in 2017. Armstrong’s involvement has drawn criticism, with some family members of Bennington vocalizing concerns, as well as backlash due to Armstrong’s past association with actor Danny Masterson, recently convicted on multiple charges.

The new album, From Zero, marks Linkin Park’s first release since One More Light in 2017, a deeply personal album for the band that resonated with many fans but ultimately became linked to Bennington’s final years. While the band has been largely positive about their forward momentum, this tour will no doubt test how From Zero and Armstrong’s role resonate with audiences worldwide. Tickets are expected to go on sale soon; fans can check the band’s official site for details.
