Killswitch Engage have announced a new North American tour for spring 2025, marking their return to the stage following a two-year break from full-scale touring. Set to begin March 5 in Nashville, the tour includes a Canadian stop at Place Bell in Laval on April 11.
With Jesse Leach on vocals, guitarists Adam Dutkiewicz and Joel Stroetzel, bassist Mike D’Antonio, and drummer Justin Foley, Killswitch Engage has made a mark in metal with three Grammy nominations and platinum-selling records. Known for their relentless approach to metalcore, they’re returning from a well-received 25th-anniversary headline slot at the New England Metal & Hardcore Festival, which wrapped up last month.
Their upcoming tour will also see support from Texan hardcore group Kublai Khan TX, metalcore mainstays Fit for a King, and death metal outfit Frozen Soul. Speaking about the tour, frontman Jesse Leach expressed enthusiasm for the live lineup, stating, “Excited is an understatement for the way that I feel about this tour. We will be playing a solid amount of new songs, as well as old… The lineup we have chosen is a powerful and eclectic blend of hardcore and metal.” He added that the band “is firing on all cylinders,” calling this tour a “perfect” next step in Killswitch Engage’s journey.
Fans can expect a mix of classics alongside newer material, following their latest album, Atonement, released under Metal Blade Records. Although they’ve kept a low touring profile since 2022, Killswitch Engage has stayed active behind the scenes, hinting at new projects on the horizon.
