Kandle unveils new single “Danger to Dream” with Tarantino-inspired video

Montreal-based musician Kandle is gearing up for the release of her latest album, set to drop later this year. The forthcoming record promises to be a culmination of Kandle’s extensive experience in the music industry, infused with her intimate understanding of its trials and tribulations.

The latest single, “Danger to Dream,” offers a glimpse into the thematic depth of Kandle’s upcoming LP. Delving into themes of self-worth and the pressures of comparison, the track poignantly reflects on the struggles many face in navigating their own aspirations.

In a move aligned with International Women’s Day, Kandle is also using her platform to shed light on National Endometriosis Awareness Month and Women’s History Month. As someone who battles the painful effects of endometriosis, Kandle hopes to foster a sense of solidarity among listeners who may be grappling with similar challenges.

With over a decade of experience in the music scene, Kandle’s forthcoming album is poised to be her most compelling yet. Described as her “strongest and heaviest” work to date, the record promises to offer listeners a raw and unfiltered glimpse into Kandle’s artistic evolution.

Despite facing numerous obstacles throughout her career, including abuse and chronic illness, Kandle remains steadfast in her commitment to her craft. Now, as a self-produced and independent artist, she is poised to take full ownership of her creative vision.

In crafting the album’s sound, Kandle and Mitchell enlisted the talents of drummer and beatmaker Yato Noukoussi. With his diverse musical background and innate creativity, Noukoussi brings a unique energy to the project, helping to shape its dynamic sonic landscape.
