Reports suggest that the Vans Warped Tour could be making a return in 2025, marking its 30th anniversary. While no official confirmation has been made, multiple sources, including YouTube rock news channel Rock Feed, have hinted at the festival’s potential revival under the leadership of Live Nation, one of the largest live entertainment companies in the world.

Brian Storm, the host of Rock Feed, noted, “According to multiple sources, the Warped Tour will be back in 2025 to celebrate its anniversary, though it’s going to look a little different.” He added that Kevin Lyman, the festival’s founder, will remain involved, although Live Nation is reportedly taking over the reins.

Warped Tour, which ran annually from 1995 to 2018, is known for helping to launch the careers of major artists like Blink-182, My Chemical Romance, and Paramore. It became an iconic part of the North American music scene, attracting a wide range of punk and rock fans. However, after announcing its final tour in 2018, it seemed like Warped’s time had passed. A brief return for its 25th anniversary in 2019 left many hoping for a more permanent revival.

While some fans are thrilled at the possibility of Warped’s comeback, others are skeptical due to Live Nation’s involvement, especially concerning ticket prices. “If Live Nation is running it, we’re going to be paying festival prices,” said one fan on Instagram, echoing concerns over potential price hikes. Warped Tour was once known for its accessibility, with tickets ranging between $20 and $40, something many fans doubt will be the case in 2025.

In recent years, Live Nation has faced scrutiny over rising ticket prices and its handling of major events, including the Astroworld tragedy in 2021. Whether Warped Tour can maintain its grassroots ethos under their control remains to be seen.

For now, fans will have to wait for official word, but if the rumours are true, 2025 could see the return of one of the most beloved music festivals of the past few decades.
