Green Day to headline Osheaga 2024

OSHEAGA has announced that Green Day will be playing their first-ever show in the festival’s history next summer, as they take the stage for what is sure to be an unforgettable night of pure punk rock bliss!

The Bay Area trio has been a Montreal favourite since they first burst onto the scene in the early nineties, and this summer, the legendary group will bring the hits for an OSHEAGA headlining set on Saturday, August 3 at Parc Jean-Drapeau, Montreal.

It has been over six years since Green Day last “came around” to play a show in Montreal, leaving the sold-out Bell Centre crowd in awe! Now, with a new album on the horizon called Saviours, the iconic group is preparing a world tour for 2024 that will showcase their searing new material along with anthems from classic albums like Dookie (celebrating 30 years since its release) and American Idiot (that turns 20 next year).If the new song “The American Dream is Killing Me” is any indication, Green Day are burning with the same intensity that has seen them rise to the top of the charts, reigning atop the pop-punk pile since their very beginnings.
