Festival Fono has announced its 2026 lineup, returning to Université Laval’s campus in Quebec City from September 10 to 12 with close to 40 artists across three stages. Headliners include GIMS, SOMBR, Alessia Cara, Natasha Bedingfield, Sofi Tukker, and Angus & Julia Stone, with the full program spanning French-language rap, indie folk, pop, and electronic music. Tickets go on sale March 18 at noon via festivalfono.com, with three-day general admission passes starting at $149 before taxes.
The festival’s main stage, Vallée Beneva, carries the marquee names across all three nights. GIMS closes Thursday, Bedingfield and SOMBR split Friday, with SOMBR headlining in what the organizers are billing as the American artist’s first Quebec City appearance. Alessia Cara closes Saturday. Chance Peña, the Texas singer-songwriter, and Quebec rapper Fredz fill out the Vallée Beneva mid-bill across the weekend.

The second stage, Boisé Coors Light, consolidates what was previously two side-by-side stages into a single larger setup. Ariane Moffatt anchors Thursday night there, Angus & Julia Stone close Friday, and Sofi Tukker end Saturday. The Australian folk duo Angus & Julia Stone are making their Quebec City debut despite more than 20 years of recording and touring. Also on the Boisé Coors Light bill: Lous and the Yakuza, whose profile has grown considerably in Francophone markets over the past few years, playing Saturday ahead of Sofi Tukker.
The third space, Forêt Électro, runs continuously from site opening through the end of each night and has been expanded for this edition, now operating across two stages. American duo Polar Bears are in residence for all three nights, closing each evening in the electronic forest. The rest of the Forêt Électro lineup draws primarily from Quebec’s electronic scene, with a handful of international additions across the three days.
The after-hours component returns after what the festival described as a successful debut last year: three secret locations, three undisclosed artists, open only to contest winners.
Festival Fono is organized by BLEUFEU, the Quebec City-based promoter also behind the Festival d’été de Québec. The 2026 edition is presented by Beneva with RBC as a collaborating partner. Early-bird pricing holds until July 31, after which ticket prices increase. Student passes for Université Laval students are available at $109 for the three-day pass.
