Faye Webster Announces 2025 MTelus Show

Faye Webster has announced a major 2025 North American tour, marking her largest headlining shows to date. The tour, kicking off on February 23 in Louisville, KY, will include a stop at MTelus in Montreal on March 1st.

Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday, October 11, at 10 a.m. local time.

This announcement comes hot on the heels of Webster’s sold-out North American fall tour, which was a part of her promotion for Underdressed at the Symphony, her latest album on the Secretly Canadian label. Over the summer, Webster played a series of high-profile festival gigs, including sets at Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Bonnaroo. She also headlined venues like The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles and performed two nights at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. The tour featured a few surprise guest appearances from artists like Lil Yachty, Daniel Caesar, and Mei Ehara.

Last week, Webster dropped her newest single, “After The First Kiss,” accompanied by a music video directed by Kyle Ng, founder of Braindead and a frequent Webster collaborator. The quirky video showcases Webster and musician Deb Never leading two opposing LARPing teams into battle, capturing the offbeat sense of humour that fans have come to love.

Underdressed at the Symphony, released earlier this year, has received critical acclaim for its blend of genres, mixing elements of indie rock, R&B, and country. Outlets such as The New York Times have praised the album for its exploration of emotional intimacy and its ability to balance indie rock with Webster’s country roots. The album features hyper-specific, often playful lyrics, such as references to Webster’s personal eBay purchases, and is punctuated by her trademark pedal steel guitar and string arrangements.
