Enter Shikari, the British powerhouse of electronicore, have announced “Dancing On The Frontline,” a companion record set to drop on June 7 via SO Recordings. This album serves as a comprehensive collection featuring a blend of remixes, non-album singles, and electrifying live session tracks.
“Dancing On The Frontline” arrives almost a year to the day since their chart-topping UK #1 album “A Kiss for the Whole World.” It showcases the band’s evolution and creativity over the past year, with collaborations featuring artists such as Wargasm, Cody Frost, AViVA, and Fever 333’s Jason Aalon Butler.
Lead singer and producer Rou Reynolds shares insights into the creative process behind the release, stating, “We’re exactly one year on from the release of A Kiss For The Whole World, so it feels like the right time to present all our output from this crazy year, along with some new treats, all in one place.”
Fans can already immerse themselves in the pulsating rhythms of the album’s opening track, ‘Goldfish (Shikari Sound System remix),’ which is available for streaming. Additionally, the release comes with a Blu-ray disc that Oleg Rooz, the band’s visual collaborator, painstakingly edited with stunning footage from Enter Shikari’s headlining performances at the 2022 Vainstream Festival in Germany and the UK’s Slam Dunk Festival in 2023.
The band have also announced their upcoming North American headline tour in October. They’ll be joined by special guests You Me At Six and Australian pop-punks Yours Truly for what will be their final shows on the continent before their 2025 split.
The band will stop at the Beanfield Theatre in Montreal on October 21st.
“North America has always been difficult for Shikari,” Reynolds admits. “Long tours, thousands of miles, and playing venues smaller than most of the other rooms we get to visit around the world. But we’ve always kept returning because there’s a real zest and passion from our audience out there, even if fewer people ‘get us.’”
