Born At Midnite Announce Debut Album Eternal BAM Nation, Out June 26 on Arbutus▪

Montreal duo Born At Midnite will release their debut album, Eternal BAM Nation, on June 26 via Arbutus Records. The project pairs Amery Sandford, a visual artist and pop songwriter who recently issued her first solo record Continue As Amery, with David Carriere, a producer, songwriter, and guitarist in TOPS and Marci. The two formed the project around 2020 after recording a first song that shared the band’s name.

The album’s latest single, “Pt. III,” features Montreal indie pop artist Fireball Kid and follows last month’s “Wash You Out” and earlier single “Smash.” The duo describe their sound as drawing on punk, techno, house, and new wave, leaning into themes of self-importance and present-day excess. Eternal BAM Nation was written and recorded over the summer of 2025 in the pair’s Montreal studio, and runs to eleven-plus songs. Earlier coverage has come from CLASH and Ottawa Life.

Born At Midnite tour North America, the EU, and the UK starting in August. The run opens at home in Montreal on August 13 at Foufounes Électriques, before stops in Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Toronto, and beyond, with European dates running into October. The album is available to pre-order now, and tickets for the tour are on sale.
