Montreal’s own Black Tiger Sex Machine (BTSM) is returning to their hometown for a highly anticipated performance at Place Bell on November 23, 2024.
The trio, known for their heavy bass and electrifying electro sound, has been a formidable force on the global stage for over a decade.
BTSM has been making waves internationally, selling over 100,000 tickets across the United States in just their last 15 shows. Their performances are renowned for blending intense audio with stunning visuals, creating a live experience that feels almost religious in its inclusivity and energy. This show will feature a return to the original trio lineup, with Marc making his first appearance since the Red Rocks show in 2023 alongside bandmates Julien and Patrick.
The Anime Show is set to be an epic spectacle, combining BTSM’s music with a narrative inspired by various post-apocalyptic anime worlds. From “Attack on Titan” to “One Piece” and “Naruto,” this show reimagines classic characters and stories through the lens of BTSM’s unique aesthetic. Fans can expect a jaw-dropping production, complete with a massive LED wall, lasers, and other visual effects designed to transport the audience into the heart of these fictional universes.
Joining BTSM on stage will be Kai Wachi, making his return to Montreal after performing at the historic Kannibalen events. The lineup will also feature Baltimore’s Zingara, along with local talents WODD and RayJhin, rounding out a night of heavy-hitting bass music.
Beyond their music, Black Tiger Sex Machine has also made a name for themselves as the driving force behind Kannibalen Records. The independent label, which they founded, has nurtured the careers of artists like Apashe, Dabin, and Kai Wachi. Kannibalen Records has also gained international recognition through major sync deals with brands like Apple, Budweiser, and Adidas.
