Corrosion of Conformity + Whores. + UUBBUURRUU @ Fairmount Theatre

Corrosion of Conformity brought their Southern sludge to Montreal’s Théâtre Fairmount on May 6, 2026, a headlining stop on the band’s North American run following a stretch of dates alongside Clutch. Atlanta noise-rock trio Whores. provided the touring support, with Montreal heavy-psych outfit UUBBUURRUU opening the night.

Guitarists Pepper Keenan and Woody Weatherman anchored the headline set, with touring drummer Nick Shabatura filling out the rhythm section. The setlist pulled from across the band’s four-decade catalogue, with longtime favourites like Albatross, Clean My Wounds, and Vote with a Bullet sitting next to newer cuts such as Asleep on the Killing Floor.

The tour supported Good God / Baad Man, the double album released in early April 2026. The record spans the band’s path from 80s hardcore punk roots to the heavier, bluesier metal they have built in the decades since.

Photographer Ryan Rumpel was at the Fairmount to capture the night.
