Keith Urban + Chase Mathew + Alana Springsteen + Karley Scott Collins @ Bell Centre

It was a night of country music magic at the Bell Centre in Montreal, as four artists took the stage and delivered a show that kept building in energy until Keith Urban himself brought the house down.

Karley Scott Collins opened the evening while fans were still finding their seats. Even though the crowd was light at first, she delivered a smooth, intimate set that warmed everyone up for the night ahead. Dressed in a beautiful snakeskin-print dress, her performance had a quiet charm — the perfect way to ease into what would become a powerhouse lineup.

Next up was Alana Springsteen, the 24-year-old rising country star from Virginia Beach. She burst onto the stage wearing a Montreal Canadiens jersey, instantly winning over the hometown crowd. Full of energy and excitement, Springsteen shared her dream of opening for Keith Urban and lit up the arena with her charisma. Between shouts of “Go Habs Go!” and reminding fans of Montreal’s 24 Stanley Cups, she showed she knows how to connect. Her voice was stunning, her acoustic guitar playing solid, and it’s clear this young star has a very bright future ahead.

Then came Chase Mathew, the Tennessee native who stormed the stage with pure adrenaline. With his bandmates by his side, Mathew leapt around the stage and sent the energy through the roof.  The biggest moment came when he showed off his maple leaf tattoo and shared his love for Canada, winning the audience over instantly. He had fans out of their seats, clapping, cheering, and fully engaged — the perfect setup for the headliner.

Finally, it was time for Keith Urban, the country superstar from Brisbane, Australia, who proved once again why he’s one of the best live performers in the business. From the moment he stepped on stage, Urban dazzled with both his soulful vocals and jaw-dropping guitar solos — it almost felt like two concerts in one. He playfully mimicked a whistle with his guitar, showed off his incredible skills, and treated fans to a surprise snippet of Bob Marley’s Is This Love.

The highlights kept coming: the crowd sang nearly an entire chorus of Somebody Like You on their own, with Urban holding the mic stand high to capture the moment. During Days Go By, he came down to the front rows for an intimate connection with fans. At one point, he even shared a story about starting out in a band at 14, parents driving him to gigs, and leaving school at 15 to play music full-time. The crowd laughed, cheered, and applauded the personal touch.

But perhaps the biggest “wow” moment came when Urban walked through the crowd during his duet with Pink (on Screen Recording), circling the entire floor before making his way to a platform at the back of the arena. He closed out with an acoustic performance — and then shocked everyone by gifting his guitar to a lucky fan. The look on her face said it all: unforgettable.

From start to finish, the night continued to build in intensity. Karley Scott Collins, Alana Springsteen, and Chase Mathew set the stage beautifully, each act raising the energy higher. And Keith Urban? He proved he’s still at the top of his game, delivering a show that was equal parts heartfelt, electric, and unforgettable.
