Montreal’s Pouzza Fest is set to make a partial return to outdoor programming in 2025, with three free concerts scheduled at the Quartier des Spectacles. The festival, known for its DIY ethos and punk-heavy lineups, has spent the past six years primarily indoors. This year’s edition, running from May 16 to 18, will feature a mix of homegrown and international acts across both outdoor and indoor stages.
The free outdoor shows kick off on May 16 with a Quebec-centric lineup headlined by Vulgaires Machins, alongside Les Marmottes Aplaties, We Are Wolves, and Maxime Gervais et les Petits Trous de Balle. Montreal Oi! outfit Béton Armé, who have seen a resurgence in recent years, will also take the stage.
May 17 takes a more folk-leaning turn with English singer-songwriter Frank Turner leading a bill that includes Tim Barry, Dave Hause, The Slackers, Guilhem & The Bamboo Bones, Malcolm Bauld, and Call Me Rita.
On May 18, the festival shifts back into heavier territory with Voivod, Fucked Up, and Subhumans at the helm. Enfants Sauvages, Thunder Queens, and the Slavic dub-punk collective Dumai Dunai round out the night’s lineup.

Beyond the free programming, Pouzza will continue to host ticketed indoor shows featuring acts such as NOBRO, Wine Lips, Dig It Up, and The OBGMs. The festival also maintains its more eclectic offerings, with family-friendly events under the Pouzza Bambino banner, comedy performances, and even yoga sessions.
Now in its 13th year, Pouzza Fest has built a reputation as one of Canada’s most reliable punk festivals, blending established acts with emerging artists while fostering a strong community atmosphere. As the festival edges back toward its outdoor roots, this year’s edition promises to strike a balance between past and present.
Pouzza Fest 2025 runs from May 16 to 18. Full festival details and ticketing information are available at pouzzafest.com.
