This record is full of excellent pop-punk-infused emo tracks. This five-track EP has a nice polished sound for an independently produced EP that will appeal to fans of bands like Modern Baseball or anything off the Topshelf Records roster.
As the title of the EP mentions, we find a lot of musical variety in these 5 tracks. Some of them, like the opener “Like Lightning,” comes in with some speedy punk riffs, crashing drums and speedy vocals. While other tracks like RIP have a more mid-tempo introspective sound before going into a Title Fight-inspired ending.
A fantastic EP I cannot recommend enough in a style that we don’t hear enough of these days. Follow the Spotify link below to listen.
