Petal Supply
Every single person in Fairmount Theater was so ready to dance.
I certainly felt the intense anticipation. My friends had been talking about this show for literal months, and that excitement was undeniably shared with everyone in attendance.
Petal Supply was such an excellent artist to get started with.
She guided the crowd with her enchanting set and danced along with everyone the entire time. Her energy was absolutely wonderful, and she embodied the electronic charm of her genre with the high pitched voice mod as she sang to the crowd.
Her set was fast paced and somberly energetic, and was honestly quite perfect to set the vibe for what was to come.
Dorian Electra
After being postponed for so long, fans of Dorian Electra quickly filled up the space of Fairmount Theater, ready to go as hard as possible and dance along to what was gonna be a really fun show. And when the lights went out, everyone cheered as loudly as possible as Dorian made their way to the stage, ready to blow everyone’s socks off with their set.
Honestly, nothing could’ve prepared me for that show. I was amazed by how Dorian just has a certain control over their audience when performing, never stopping for a single moment during their entire set. They used props, such as a long katana sword when performing “Live By The Sword”, and brought out background dancers that carried them around and performed choreographed dances along with them.
The crowd danced in such unison with Dorian that it seemed like they had hypnotized the crowd, and I don’t even think I’m far off when saying that. They had a charm with the crowd, and I can at least say for myself that I was absolutely enchanted with them. But I’m sure that everyone else in attendance could agree with me.
Dorian’s set continued on with heavily loved songs such as “Adam & Steve”, “Flamboyant”, “Daddy Like”, and “Guyliner”, all of which had the crowd moving beautifully to all the flashing lights in an otherwise pitch black venue.
I was so pleasantly surprised that their remix for Lady Gaga’s “Reply” was included in their set! I wasn’t the only one though, that was made clear when everyone around me lost their minds and started dancing without hesitation.
Dorian Electra’s stage presence is enthralling and sexy, I just could not keep my eyes off of them while they were up on stage. I had a blast at this show, and I’m really glad that I got the chance to see them live. You can bet that I’ll be at their next performance, going just as, or maybe even harder than I already did.
