Montreal Psych Fest is a new local music festival that is quickly becoming an underground favourite. Organized by Tasha Class of local band Melted Faces, the festival started out as a two day mini-fest in a small loft consisting of 12 bands from in and around Montreal.
The 2nd year Tasha joined forces with friends and volunteers to put on a four day festival with 26 bands, held in multiple venues throughout the Plateau neighbourhood of Montreal.
Now going into its 3nd year, Montreal Psych Fest showcases psychedelic bands and garage rock. It has already seen the music community embrace the event as something sought-after, by musicians and music-lovers alike.
This year’s lineup, playing across three days, includes Red Mass, Les Marinellis, The High Dials, The Backhomes and Rain Parade’s Matt Puichi. For more info CLICK HERE
