The Black Keys, Weezer, Kendrick Lamar and more for Osheaga 2015

The Black Keys, Weezer, Florence & The Machine, The War On Drugs, Alt-J and Kendrick Lamar are just some of the names that have been announced for this year’s Osheaga Festival.

The festival, celebrating its 10th year, takes place from July 31st to August 2nd at Montreal’s Parc Jean-Drapeau.

Other bands confirmed include Ben Harper, St Vincent, Brand New, Angus & Julia Stone, George Ezra, Future Islands, Philip Selway, Milky Chance, Gary Clark Jr, Edward Sharp & The Magnetic Zeros, Young The Giant, Alvvays, Catfish & The Bottlemen, First Aid Kit, MS MR, The Decemberists, The Kills, Action Bronson, Nas, Patrick Watson,Hot Chip, Of Monsters & Men, Chet Faker, Charlie XCX, Robin Schulz and Tyler The Creator.

They’ll be joined by previously announced artists Run the Jewels, Schoolboy Q and Stromae, Interpol, Caribou aka Daphni, Marina and the Diamonds, Kygo, Father John Misty and the Avett Brothers.

The line-up was partly announced using a video game app called The Road to Osheaga, developed by Montreal company Behaviour Interactive and presented by Virgin Mobile. Users of Apple iOS were to be able to download the app for free on Wednesday afternoon, while Google Play and Android users will have to wait until Thursday at noon.

The complete line-up for the festival will be announced on Tuesday 24 March.
