Converge opened their latest North American tour with a run of new material, debuting several songs live at Cleveland’s House of Blues on April 3. The set included the first performances of “Hum Of Hurt,” the title track from their upcoming album, along with multiple cuts from this year’s Love Is Not Enough. The show marked the band’s return to the stage following a period of renewed recording activity in 2026.
The Cleveland setlist leaned heavily on recent work. Tracks from Love Is Not Enough made their live debut, including “Bad Faith,” “Amon Amok,” “Distract And Divide,” and “To Feel Something.” The band also revisited earlier material, playing “Dark Horse,” “The Broken Vow,” and “Concubine,” keeping their catalogue in rotation alongside the newer songs.
The tour pairs Converge with Poison The Well as co-headliners, with Spy and Balmora joining on the first leg. Later dates will see The Armed and Barbarians Of California replace those opening acts. The Cleveland performance set the tone for a tour that blends established material with songs from two separate 2026 releases.
At a subsequent Chicago stop, the band dedicated “Conduit” to Bo Lueders, a figure in the local hardcore scene who died the previous week.
Converge are scheduled to bring the tour to Montreal on April 8 at Theatre Beanfield.
