The OASIS reunion is real!

After more than a decade of speculation and rumours, Oasis has officially announced a reunion tour set to kick off next year. The British rock band, known for their hits like “Wonderwall” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” will be reuniting on stage for the first time since 2009. This long-awaited news was confirmed today by both Noel and Liam Gallagher, the band’s notoriously feuding brothers.

Noel Gallagher, the band’s primary songwriter, and frontman Liam Gallagher, have been at the centre of one of rock music’s most famous sibling rivalries. Their turbulent relationship led to the band’s split in 2009, leaving fans wondering if they would ever see the iconic Britpop band perform together again. Today, those questions were answered as Noel succinctly stated, “This is it, this is happening.”

The reunion tour will span several cities across the UK and Ireland, with performances scheduled for Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, Manchester’s Heaton Park, London’s Wembley Stadium, Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium, and Dublin’s Croke Park. The tour kicks off in Cardiff on July 4th, 2025, and wraps up in Dublin on August 17th.

While fans are likely to be thrilled by the news, it remains to be seen whether the brothers will be able to maintain a truce long enough to make it through the tour. Their volatile relationship has been the subject of much public interest, with both Noel and Liam frequently taking jabs at each other in interviews and on social media over the years.

Tickets for the tour go on sale this Saturday, August 31st, with a high demand expected. More details, including ticket prices and potential additional dates, can be found on the band’s official website, Oasisinet.com.

Whether this tour marks a new chapter for Oasis or simply a final bow remains to be seen, but for now, fans can look forward to witnessing one of the most anticipated reunions in rock history.

Though only UK and Ireland tour dates have so far been announced, there are plans are under way for Oasis to tour other continents outside of Europe later next year.

The other world shows, it adds, have yet to be announced.
