Montreal rock mainstays The Damn Truth are gearing up for a major release this spring. The quartet’s self-titled fourth album, produced by legendary hitmaker Bob Rock (Metallica, Mötley Crüe), will hit shelves and streaming platforms on March 14, 2025, via Spectra Musique. Known for their gritty, modern take on classic rock, the band continues to build momentum with the release of their latest single, “Better This Way.”
The track, which follows last year’s “Love Outta Luck” and “The Willow,” is a wistful ode to love and music from a more innocent time. Bob Rock handled both production and mixing duties, alongside Adam Greenholtz (The Offspring, Mötley Crüe). Early buzz has positioned the album as a key release for fans of timeless rock.

To celebrate the launch, The Damn Truth will perform two album release shows—March 26 at Montreal’s MTELUS and March 28 at L’Anti in Quebec City. A larger Quebec tour is set to follow in the fall, with stops including Sherbrooke, Lavaltrie, and Chicoutimi.
The band’s reputation precedes them, bolstered by nearly a decade of relentless touring across Canada, the US, and Europe. They’ve opened for icons such as ZZ Top, Rival Sons, and Styx, while also headlining in key markets abroad, including the UK and France. Their single “I Just Gotta Let You Know” made waves in the UK, charting on European stations and securing airplay on Planet Rock, a significant achievement for an independent Canadian act.
With over two million Spotify streams, viral TikTok traction, and high-profile performances—including Alex Lifeson’s all-star band at Massey Hall—The Damn Truth is carving a unique space in the contemporary rock landscape. The band’s 2021 album, Now or Nowhere, received praise from outlets like Classic Rock and Powerplay and topped multiple Canadian rock charts.
