The rumours have been floating around for a few days but today it was confirmed, legendary metal band SLIPKNOT will headline this year’s Heavy Montreal. They last played the festival in 2012.
The band, who recently released their album .5: The Gray Chapter, will play the festival, which takes place August 7th, 8th and 9th at the city’s Parc Jean-Drapeau, and has built a reputation for bringing the biggest and best names in rock and metal to Montreal. This year will be the 7th edition of the festival.
Other acts confirmed include Faith No More.
Tickets will be available in March.
