With Mick Jagger and Keith Richards now in their seventies, The Rolling Stones aren’t showing any signs of slowing down any time soon, having just announced a 15-city summer stadium tour and plans to reissue their classic Sticky Fingers album.
The Zip Code Tour kicks off in San Diego on May 24th, and will wrap up with a sole Canadian date at Festival D’Été de Québec in Quebec City on July 15th. The tour’s name is a play on the Andy Warhol-designed cover of the band’s 1971 Sticky Fingers album, which centres on the zippered crotch of a pair of jeans.
Presale tickets for the Quebec City concert go on sale on April 9th and will cost $78 plus shipping. Regular price tickets are available for $88 plus shipping on April 11th.
