Canadian musician and producer Ikwinder Singh, known by his stage name Ikky, is bringing his genre-bending sound to Montreal’s Bar Le Ritz this Saturday (February 17th).

Ikky has made a name for himself in the Punjabi music scene, collaborating with heavyweights like Diljit Dosanjh, Sidhu Moose Wala, and Ammy Virk. His own music – a blend of hip-hop, pop, and Punjabi influences – has racked up over 2 billion streams globally, with over 73 million streams in Canada alone.

Earlier this year, Ikky wore the producer hat for Karan Aujla’s “Making Memories” album, which went Gold in Canada and debuted at #3 on Spotify’s Global Top Album Charts. He also joined Aujla on his US tour, showcasing his own music for American audiences.

Despite his young age (22!), Ikky has already notched up impressive achievements. He was the first Punjabi artist to perform at the Calgary Stampede, and brought his vibrant energy to the CFL halftime show between the Calgary Stampeders and Toronto Argos. In August 2023, he was appointed Creative Director for 91 NORTH RECORDS, a joint venture between Warner Music Canada and Warner Music India.

Montreal audiences can expect a high-energy set showcasing Ikky’s diverse musical palette and infectious stage presence. Whether you’re a fan of Punjabi music or simply enjoy genre-blurring sounds, this show is not one to miss.
