OSHEAGA Get Together is a Canadian-focused, limited-capacity event on the island we all know and love, Parc Jean-Drapeau and takes place this weekend, October 1-3, 2021
The headliners for this Osheaga-that’s-not-really-Osheaga include Québécois singer Charlotte Cardin on Friday, Toronto R&B artist Jessie Reyez on Saturday and Montreal alt-pop outfit Half Moon Run on Sunday.
Other artists include Stars, the Damn Truth, the Franklin Electric, Zach Zoya, Les Shirley, July Talk and Geoffroy.
Promoter Evenko is allowing just 7,500 people each day, compared to approximately 40,000 fans each day at past Oshaega festivals. In addition, there will be just two main-field stages, compared to six stages spread across Parc Jean-Drapeau in the good old days.
For this event, the lineup is 100 percent Canadian because it remains too complicated to bring in international artists, given the pandemic restrictions.
The plan is to hold the real 15th-anniversary edition of Osheaga next summer, presuming life has returned to some approximation of normalcy by that point.
Tickets are still available HERE
The event will also be live-streamed for free on TikTok.
