Osheaga 2023 Sunday Guide

Sunday seems to be a crowd favorite as it was the first day to sell out!

Our pick to start your day is Aysanabee, a Polaris shortlisted artist who is making waves on the Indie charts.

He will be hitting the Coors Light Mountain Stage at 2:00 PM. Aysanabee is Oji-Cree, Sucker Clan of the Sandy Lake First Nations, and will surely be a powerful performance.

Jonathan Roy want to do to music, what his father Patrick Roy did for hockey: Dominate. At 100 million views for the below video…he’s well on his way!

12:40 PM sees Jonathan Roy on Bell River Stage.

Milk and Bone always put on a great show, and they originate from Montreal!

Green Stage 15:20PM

If you have never seen Beabadobee, you are in for a show. Read the review of her last visit. She opened up for Taylor Swift so likely picked up a few fans along the way. I’m just happy she signed my vinyl after the last show.

Not to be missed on the Coors Light Mountain Stage at 16:40PM.

Saint Levant did pique my interest, which would be a natural evolution to Milk & Bone. Green Stage 16:45PM.

Tom Odell should draw in a crowd with his breakup anthem that swept through Tik-Tok. Bell River Stage 17:35PM.

Our SiriusXM Backyard Session pick today is LAROIE. Formerly of Heartstreets with bestie Emma Beko, her new project brings in a more electronic vibe. 6:30PM.

If you are more into the Indie sound, you might want to check out Julia Jacklin on the Green Stage at 6:15PM.

The Foals are always up for a good party, and they will light up the Chevrolet Valley Stage at 7:00 PM.

I remember meeting Michelle Zauner at the merch booth opening for Slow Dive. She was so sweet, I’m happy things have really taken off, including a Saturday Night Live performance.

A great summer song is Be Sweet from Japanese Breakfast and you can take it in on the Green Stage at 7:45PM.

I would definitely not want to miss Cigarettes After Sex, even if I’m a non-smoker. Dream pop at its best on the Chevrolet Valley Stage at 8:35PM.

The big pull of the day will surely be Kendrick Lamar whose Alright became a protest song against police brutality. Bell River Stage will be hoppin’ at 9PM.

If EMD is more your jam, check out REZZ who will have us dancing till the end! Green Stage 9:45PM.

What an end to 3 days of festivities and a return to normal, except for raging forest fires, tornadoes and floods. Well…at least it will be 3 days where we get to forget our problems for a little while, and dance with like-minded souls to music that will fill us with joy.
