North Reign released a new single & Video today: Drag Me Down
Reaching back to Classic Rock as its essence, but adding a touch of modern attitude, the song deals with those that want to criticize us.
How do you build the highest building in town?
There are two ways.
Your can simply build the biggest building in town, or you can spend all your time tearing everyone else’s building down.
Being critical or sarcastic has the effect of tearing others down to make one appear better than anyone else.
At the end of the day, if you chose the latter, you end up standing tall with no one around you.
The song is a shot across the bow of anyone wanting to tear us down, letting them know their tactics are wasted.
“You know I’m loving the way you think you’re dragging me down.”

The song was produced by Brian Moncarz (Our Lady Peace, The Trews, Yukon Blonde).
The video was shot on a Toronto rooftop the day Italy won the UEFA Euro title.
