Neomi commands the stage like the future diva she will become.
Her mix of Pop & Rock, backed by a talented guitarist Michael-Anthony Mancini, bassist Sandro Ferraro and drummer, has a radio friendly sound, with some lyrical depth.
Neomi is also an artist willing to take on the challenge of a pandemic-era show, having a small, socially distanced live crowd of 2 per table, along with a larger home audience watching in Virtual Reality.
KMax
Karl Max Roseau, recently returned to his hometown, after some collaborations in L.A..
Former amateur fighter, KMax now fights for your heart in the musical ring.

He started us off with some RnB infused Hip-Hop, definitely on the soft romantic side of the spectrum.
Neomi
When Neomi hit the stage, it was clear the audience came for her energetic performance.

Neomi took in their thunderous welcome and used it to kickstart her performance with Dangerous, a heavy pop song that locked us all in.
The confidence in her steps felt like we were watching that determined Britney Spears performing in a mall, with choreography & energy of a stadium tour.
Body on Body has a more Spanish influenced vibe on the recorded version, but played with a little more rock oomph live, allowing her voice to push a little harder to match the vibe.
On Your List again went with a harder take on the song, which just added fuel to the fire and made the song that much better.

After a costume change, Neomi restarted us softly with New York, a song about a romantic rendezvous that never materialized.
Saving the best for last, she put every ounce of energy into her latest single I Hope You Know.
For the encore, she performed another banger, Loud.
Conclusion
While I can’t speak for the VR experience, graciously supported by SINCOP8ED NOIZE Foundation + Immerse MTL, this event was a hit.
This just might be the answer to issues of artists performing in limited capacity venues. Typically, a venue must be fairly filled, to turn a profit, but that becomes impossible with current restrictions.
Having a hybrid event with VIP guests live, and a worldwide audience in VR might just be the winning formula, at least for the foreseeable future.
All I can say is that Neomi put on a fantastic show, with the confidence and poise of a seasoned star.
I’m confident that each stage will get progressively larger, as will her font size in upcoming festivals.
