MOOCH premiere new video for “You Wouldn’t Know”

Montreal’s heavy psychedelic band MOOCH have unveiled a new video for the latest single, “You Wouldn’t Know,” featured on their eagerly awaited new album, Visions. The kaleidoscopic new performance video captures the gritty ‘90s video that the track brings forth.

Watch the video below:

“You Wouldn’t Know” delves into the intricate battles of self-sabotage and the challenge of accepting love. The band shared, “‘You Wouldn’t Know’ is like a conversation with that part of yourself that can’t seem to accept love, constantly getting in the way of your own happiness.” This track is not just a deep dive into personal struggles; it also serves as a nod to the raw spirit of ’90s grunge.

Inspired by legends like NIRVANA, THE MELVINS, ALICE IN CHAINS, and STONE TEMPLE PILOTS, “You Wouldn’t Know” features low tempo but powerful guitar riffs, dynamic vocals, and intense drumming. It’s a tribute to the grunge era while showcasing MOOCH’s unique sound.

With “You Wouldn’t Know” now out, MOOCH is giving us a tantalizing glimpse of what to expect with Visions, which will be released on May 3, 2024. This single paves the way for an album filled with reflective lyrics and a sound that’s both nostalgic and fresh.

The band will be embarking on tour throughout Canada in support of Visions, with a Montreal album launch show planned for May 11th. The tour kicks off on May 10th in Ottawa, Ontario and wraps on May 27th on Halifax, Nova Scotia. Full itinerary below.
