Heavy Montreal (formerly known as Heavy MTL) has revealed the first acts to play this year’s two-day festival which takes place August 9th – 10th at Montreal’s Park Jean-Drapeau.

Metallica will headline, playing a set selected by fans, and will be joined by Slayer, Anthrax, Bad Religion, The Offspring, Dropkick Murphys, Lamb of God, Fucked Up, Body Count, Pennywise, Three Days Grace and hardcore legends, D.R.I.

Cancer Bats will also perform under the name Bat Sabbath, their Black Sabbath tribute and Monster Truck will also be bringing the riffs.
