Montreal-based artist Dayside, known for his prowess as both a musician and producer, is stepping into the spotlight with his latest project, “VICES,” after years spent honing his craft behind the scenes. Following the release of his single “Called You (1000 times),” Dayside aims to carve out his own space in the music scene with a blend of retro-pop influences and contemporary sounds.
Dayside’s artistic journey has been shaped by Montreal’s diverse tapestry of cultures and musical styles. Beginning his solo career in 2021 with the debut single “Understand,” Dayside quickly established himself as a multifaceted talent, seamlessly transitioning between roles as a musician, producer, and even a tattoo artist.
While making a name for himself as a solo artist, Dayside has also lent his production skills to a diverse roster of artists, including J. Parker, Marvin Caleb, Patrik Kabongo, and Bryce The Third. His ability to blend atmospheric elements with infectious rhythms has earned him recognition within the industry, setting the stage for the highly anticipated release of “VICES.”

Described as a modern musical odyssey, “VICES” promises to plunge listeners into the depths of addiction with its raw and immersive soundscapes. Far more than just a collection of tracks, this project is a visceral journey meant to be experienced, looped, and lived. With all songs written, produced, arranged, and mixed by Dayside himself, “VICES” represents a culmination of years of artistic exploration and experimentation.
Recorded at Velours Studio in Montreal, “VICES” will soon be available on various platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube. Fans eager to embark on this sonic adventure can already pre-order the album, ensuring they’re among the first to delve into its intoxicating depths.
