Meshuggah Bring 40th Anniversary Tour to Place Bell▪

Meshuggah will mark 40 years as a band with The Forty-Year Anomaly Tour, a 2027 North American run with Testament and Blood Incantation as support. The second night of the tour is Saturday, 13 February at Place Bell in Laval, the day after the opening show at Toronto’s Coca-Cola Coliseum.

A presale started today, 27 October. The general on-sale begins Friday, 30 October at 10 a.m. local time.

The tour runs in two legs. The first goes from Toronto on 12 February to MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston on 6 March. The second opens on 15 April at the PNE Forum in Vancouver, includes Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado on 21 April, and ends on 14 May at Milwaukee Metal Fest. Meshuggah also play Welcome to Rockville in Daytona Beach on 8 May and Sonic Temple in Columbus, Ohio on 13 May. Testament and Blood Incantation are on all 32 headline dates. Full lineups for Welcome to Rockville and Milwaukee Metal Fest have not been announced.

Meshuggah formed in Sweden in 1987 and released their first, self-titled EP in 1989. Their debut album, Contradictions Collapse, followed in 1991. They have made nine studio albums, including Destroy Erase Improve, Chaosphere and Nothing. The most recent, Immutable, came out in 2022 on Atomic Fire.

Testament are touring behind Para Bellum, their 2025 album. Blood Incantation released Absolute Elsewhere in 2024 and All Gates Open (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) earlier this year.

Meshuggah closed their fall 2023 North American tour at Place Bell on 16 December 2023, with In Flames and Whitechapel in support and Voivod added for that show. Blood Incantation were in Montreal in March, playing Absolute Elsewhere in full on a bill with Emperor at MTelus. Sabaton and Pop Evil played Place Bell in September.

Toronto and Vancouver are the other Canadian stops. The rest of the tour plays the United States.
