Kamelot brought the Dark Asylum World Tour to MTELUS, with Visions of Atlantis and Frozen Crown joining them for the Montreal stop. Presented by Heavy MTL, the bill brought together three bands from across the melodic, symphonic and power metal spectrum.
With Tommy Karevik on vocals and Thomas Youngblood on guitar, Kamelot headed a lineup with two distinct supporting acts. Visions of Atlantis pair vocalists Clémentine Delauney and Michele Guaitoli, with recent albums including Pirates and Pirates II – Armada. Italian power metal band Frozen Crown feature lead vocalist Giada “Jade” Etro and arrived in Montreal ahead of their sixth album, The Legend of the Six Kings, released in October through Napalm Records.
Photographer Ryan Rumpel was there for Montreal Rocks to photograph all three bands. Frozen Crown
