Jacques Greene releases jg, his third solo album, on Friday, 16 October via LuckyMe. It is the Montreal producer and DJ’s first solo full-length since Dawn Chorus in 2019.
The 11-track record has been framed as his first album made for the dancefloor. Greene put it this way when he announced it in August: “This record moves away from concepts and follows an intuition for places where I wanted to be and where I would be wanted.”
Three singles came out ahead of the album: Closer with DJ BORING, What You Say with LuckyMe labelmate umru, and the lead single Presence. Other guests include CFCF on Time To Go, Ouri and Jonah Yano on Seconds, SAM-E, SEES0000, crushed and Sølv. The SEES0000 track, Everyone, came out of a walk to get tacos in Los Angeles.
Greene has released dance music for more than 15 years. He broke through with Another Girl and followed it with the albums Feel Infinite and Dawn Chorus. In 2025 he released Verses GT, a collaborative project with Nosaj Thing.
