J. Cole landed at the Bell Centre in Montreal on July 25th 2026 on what could possibly be a final
run of shows, the artist hinting at a return to producing as the reason.
The Fayetteville-based artist kickstarted his set in a spot most rarely do: in the crowd. He slowly
made his way to the stage, high-fiving fans along the way.

The stage featured a recreation of his hometown’s famous Market House complete with trees and grass adorning the building. The setlist consisted largely of songs off his new album, The Fall-Off, while a few others were chosen from his vast discography along with a couple of covers sprinkled in.
The sold-out crowd seemed to span all ages and they hung to every word J. Cole threw their way. In return, the artist was very appreciative of the crowd’s energy, often taking the time between songs to
acknowledge it.

Dreamville Radio was in charge of hyping up the crowd as the opener. The DJ and hype man
duo played snippets of songs from artists on J. Cole’s label, Dreamville Records.
If that was truly the last time this city was seeing the North Carolina rapper on stage then he
gave us a memorable night to remember him by.
