New York alt-rock legends Interpol return to Montreal in November with a show at Metropolis on the 20th.

The group, who first performed in the Big Apple along with other notable bands like The Strokes and The National, is one of the bands associated with the New York City indie music scene, and was one of several groups that emerged from the post-punk revival of the 2000s. The band’s sound is generally a mix of staccato bass and rhythmic, harmonized guitar, with a snare heavy mix, drawing comparisons to post-punk bands such as Joy Division & The Chameleons.

Interpol broke through to a larger audience following their critically acclaimed debut album Turn On the Bright Lights, and in September of this year released their fifth studio album, El Pintor.

Tickets for their Metropolis show on November 20th are priced at $32 + booking fee and are available through the Evenko site HERE
